Overview

Sprague Motel Oasis Bar & Grill, located at 213 W 1st St in Sprague, Washington, is a refreshing new spot that blends the charm of a small-town bar with the heartiness of a classic grill. This recently reopened establishment offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a natural gathering place for locals and travelers alike.

What stands out immediately is the sense of community. Visitors like Kate Meccariello highlight the friendly, welcoming vibe created by local patrons, making this more than just a simple pit stop. Whether you're off the trail or just passing through, the Oasis offers a laid-back space to unwind, share stories, and enjoy rustic hospitality.

The menu features comfort food staples with a modern twist. Their Blue Lagoon cocktail is a noteworthy highlight: a refreshing, vibrantly blue concoction that pairs perfectly with their crisp, golden tater tots. These tater tots are a comfort food favorite, balancing perfectly crunchy exteriors with soft centers—ideal for sharing over good conversation.

While the bar currently doesn’t offer draft beer, the bottle selection is thoughtfully curated, catering to a variety of tastes. Guests like Rob Wilson appreciate the relaxed pace and the engaging conversations with bartenders, a sign that the Oasis is prioritizing quality over volume during its soft reopening phase.

Strategically situated just moments from I-90 and neighboring Bob’s in Moses Lake, Sprague Motel Oasis Bar & Grill serves as an accessible and appealing destination for travelers and locals. It is a great place for those seeking respite after a day of exploring nearby attractions such as the sprint boat races in St. Johns, as noted by Amanda Stanford. The experience is casual yet memorable—ideal for couples, road trippers, and anyone looking to connect in a genuine, low-key environment.

In essence, the Sprague Motel Oasis Bar & Grill revitalizes the classic bar and grill concept by focusing on community, comfort food, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a gem in Sprague’s small-town landscape and a promising stop for anyone headed through Eastern Washington.

The night I went was quite with good conversation with the bartender. The place is still relatively new as ownership changed after a few years being closed. Nothing on tap as of yet but decent bottle brews.

My husband and I went into Rae Lynn's oasis after watching Sprint boats in St. Johns. We were hungry, thirsty and only planned on getting food but ended up having a few drinks and great conversation. We will definitely visit again.

Great meeting place, moments from I-90, next to Bob's in Moses Lake, makes Sprague a go to place, rather than a curse...
